If so, this position may be right for you! 3 Leaf Wellness Centre is looking to hire a 2200-hour Registered Massage Therapist for 4-5 days a week

Shifts currently seeking:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Evenings 2:30pm-8pm.

Friday & Saturdays 10-4pm (alternating)

Incorporating a morning shift (9:00-2:00) into a schedule may be available, but preference will be given to those available primarily evenings & Saturdays.

About 3 Leaf:

3 Leaf is a wellness centre in west Edmonton that specializes in massage therapy. We have 5 beautiful treatment rooms, an infrared sauna, and a retail space showcasing various local and Canadian products. Not only do we provide a calm and relaxing space to work, but we also provide you with full time receptionists who help take care of your clients before and after their session. This includes greeting them when they come in, having them fill out paperwork, processing payments, scheduling appointments and keeping our space clean and organized. But the best part… they do your laundry!

Earnings are based on a 60/40 commission split, plus tips.

Job Summary:

As a massage therapist at 3 Leaf Wellness Centre, you must be comfortable working with a deeper pressure, but also able to include relaxation elements into your session. Most of our clientele are seeking a blend of both therapeutic and relaxation massage, and it is our goal to provide a customized treatment that best fits each individual’s needs and preferences.

We offer 30, 40, 60, 75, 90 & 120minute sessions (120 min is optional).

Depending on session lengths and booking times our schedules allow for 4-5 sessions.

Additional modalities, such as cupping, stones, reflexology etc. are considered an asset.

​

Massage therapists – provide their own oil/lotion and any additional tools used in treatment. As well, a transaction fee is charged for payment processing.

​

What you possess:

· Massage Therapy Diploma (2200 hours minimum)

· Valid Health Enhancement Practitioner License with the City of Edmonton

· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

· Ability to work effectively within a team and individually

· Strong verbal communication skills

· Exceptional interpersonal skills

· Commitment to scheduled days

· Must be willing to occasionally mask (based on clients preference and illness)

Additional Information

Lastly, we want to take a moment to be transparent. Quickly filling a massage therapists schedule, has become harder over the past few years. This means, it can take an investment of time and energy into a business, for a therapist to grow.

​

At 3 Leaf, we have a strong team of dedicated RMTs who care about our clients and each other. They are unique and each offer our clients something different. Although we have therapists who are still growing their clientele, we are currently missing a specific style of therapist that we believe a number of our clients are looking for.
Someone who can work in silence and provide that much needed relaxation, but who can also engage with clients who come to build rapport with their RMT as much as for the treatment they provide.

Our goal is to provide a space for people to come and feel appreciated, valued and seen. This looks different for everyone, and having a range of personalities and styles is important to finding those connections.
